Your Vedic Birth Stamp

Vedic Birthday

Your birthday, as remembered by the Vedic lunar calendar.

Enter where and when you were born. Ketuverse finds your Vedic Birth Stamp, then shows the yearly birthday date for your current Ketuverse location and timezone.

Not a Gregorian repeat

Western birthday repeats by calendar date. Vedic Birthday returns when your birth tithi is active at sunrise in the location you observe from.

Which location controls what?

Your birth location tells Ketuverse the tithi you were born under. Your current location tells Ketuverse which date that same tithi returns at sunrise. Both matter, because tithi can fall on a different date in different places.

About Vedic Birthdays

Your Vedic Birthday is based on your birth tithi.

Your calendar birthday remembers a civil date. Your Vedic Birthday remembers the Vedic Birth Stamp of your birth. This is why observances like Rama Navami, Krishna Janmashtami, and Ganesha Chaturthi move through the Gregorian calendar while remaining anchored to tithi.

Based on tithi at sunrise

What is a Vedic Birthday?

A Vedic Birthday is the yearly return of your Vedic Birth Stamp: lunar month, paksha, and tithi. Your birth stamp is calculated from where you were born, and the yearly birthday date is selected by sunrise in the location you choose for observance.

How does Ketuverse calculate my Vedic Birthday?

Ketuverse first calculates your birth cosmic stamp from birth date, birth time, and birthplace. Then it searches each target year for the sunrise day in your current Ketuverse location where the same lunar month, paksha, and tithi are active.

Is Vedic Birthday the same as my regular calendar birthday?

No. A regular birthday repeats by Gregorian date. A Vedic Birthday repeats by lunar calendar identity, which is why festivals such as Rama Navami, Krishna Janmashtami, and Ganesha Chaturthi are observed by tithi rather than a fixed English date.

Why does location matter for Vedic Birthday?

The tithi present at sunrise can differ by location and timezone. Your birthplace creates the birth stamp, but your current Ketuverse location decides the yearly date shown for observance.

Does my birth nakshatra need to match every year?

Nakshatra is part of your birth cosmic stamp, but the Vedic Birthday date is primarily based on lunar month, paksha, and tithi at sunrise. If the birth nakshatra also appears, Ketuverse highlights it as a bonus.
